Are you seeking for another adventure which will make you scream, thrilled, marvel at a beautiful vista, and feel like you’re on top of everything? Have the Sky Experience Adventure in the Queen City of the South – Cebu City.

What is the Sky Experience Adventure? This is Crown Regency Hotel and Towers’ most exciting offer for its valued guests. If you haven’t heard or haven’t experienced this adventure yet, below are the important details you should know. PHOTO CREDIT:
www.skyexperienceadventure.com

Sky Experience Adventure includes two separate adventures – the Edge Coaster and the Sky Walk Extreme. The Edge Coaster is a world’s first. It’s quite like an amusement park ride where you will be locked on your seat while it is tilted 55 degrees on the edge of Crown Regency’s 37th floor, around 130 meters above the ground. Whew!

The crew will do the first control on how tilted the coaster would be. The excitement of the rest of the ride after the initial tilt will solely depend on you. By the way, the coaster is two-seater so have your most trusted buddy with you. Scream at the top of your lungs while you tilt the coaster and marvel at the beauty of Cebu City.

Next one, the Sky Walk Extreme. Imagine walking on the edge of a tall building, on a see through floor, without railing to hold on to. This is what the Sky Walk Extreme is all about. This is a thrilling experience brought 126 meters above the ground. Scary? You will be strapped on a harness (trust the safety, otherwise you won’t enjoy it) and will be instructed to wear an orange and blue apparel.

If you are terrified with heights but you really want to try the Sky Experience Adventure, make sure you are in the best condition before you try either the Sky Walk Extreme or the Edge Coaster. These adventures may scare the hell out of you but the experience will all be worth it in the end.

You can check the rates and schedules and online reservation of the Sky Experience Adventure on its official website www.skyexperienceadventure.com.

So, are you on for a sky-high Cebu adventure?

Don’t be disappointed with your cancelled trips for the rainy season has some activities and places best for you. You might want to try other local destinations that are best to visit and experience during rainy season or go to other place with the absence of rain when it’s pouring hard where you are.

Why not go to Kalinga, Cagayan de Oro, or Davao for white water rafting? Among all the activities best enjoyed during rainy season, white water rafting is the most suggested activity by travel organizers since the river is high and the rapids are bigger. Adventure lovers will surely appreciate the rapids more this time.

So instead of postponing your plans for a trip, try other destinations like Davao. Let’s get wet and wild with the rapids.

The coolest weather in Cebu is from December to February and hottest from March to May. The rainy seasons begins in July bringing torrential downpours.

For the hottest months, it is much comfortable to wear natural fiber and lightweight clothing. If you’re heading to the beach, bring shorts, hats, sunglasses, insect repellent, and sunblock cream. You should also bring tough shoes or rubber shoes for walking. When attending formal occasions, Barong Tagalog is the acceptable formal wear for men.

Since you already know what to bring on your trip to Cebu, pack up and enjoy the trip to the Queen City of the South.

Travelling can be stressful and boring most of the time especially if it’s a long road trip. To make your travelling experience fun and enjoyable, here are some of suggestions for you.

*Bring your camera

Take advantage of the scenic views that you may see during the travel. Your personal photos taken are the best souvenirs from your trip. I’m sure photographers do have a great time on trips.

*Food Trip

Try out each place’s specialties. Local restaurants for sure have these as their best-sellers.

*Make friends

If you’re travelling alone, you can make friends with other travellers to have someone to talk to. Who knows, a great travel buddy might be just around you.

*Bring PSP or play your favorite mobile game

This I think is the favorite past time of most of the travelers specially for teenagers and some adults who are fond of gaming.

*Listen to your favorite music

Last but not the least, listen to your favorite music. As much as possible, listen to something that sets up your mood for the day.

These are some practical tips to enjoy travelling. Some ways to enjoy your trip don’t even cost a penny. Enjoy!

There are different ways how to do so. Maybe I’ll just have a short list of the basic tips you must remember to have a stress-free, happy vacation without being broke.

1. Search the net for airline promos. Take advantage of air fare discounts. You know this is where you can save the most if you are updated on the latest promos.

2. Travel in a large group. A group of 10 would do. Why? So you can save much on rentals and resort accommodations. This is also a nice tip for adventure trips like when you go on island-hopping or something.

3. Search for the cheapest, yet comfortable hotel or resort accommodation. This is a better option especially if you are to go on a beach and you would spend most of your stay outdoors.

4. Befriend a local. Better if you already know someone from the destination you plan to go to. He might accommodate you or help you find the best place to stay that’s within your budget. Since he’s a native of that place, he knows where to take you so you could have the best vacation.

5. Souvenirs. I don’t know if you tourists are aware of this, but prices of souvenirs get lower as the day ends. So if you want to buy something to bring home, go to the local market in the late afternoon or early evening before the stores close.

These are just five basic tips on how to have a cheap yet enjoyable trip to the Philippines’ most coveted tourist destinations!

Travelling here in the Philippines could be one huge adventure if you happen to visit on a wrong time. Technically, there’s no really wrong or right timing. It’s in the proper plan of your trip – from the itineraries to the place to stay, to the food you are going to eat, to the clothes you are to bring.

If you decide to travel in May, consider the following points:

1. The rainy season could start as early as May yet the hottest temperature can often be experienced during this month. It’s kind of confusing though.

2. When choosing where to go, make sure it’s the safest place to be at in either sunny or rainy days. Choose the most flexible accommodation where the quite unpredictable weather won’t ruin your stay.

3. What clothes should you pack? Still due to the unstable daily weather, it’s safe to pack lighter clothes (preferably cotton fabric) for a hot sunny day and then bring sweater or lightweight jacket in case the weather gets cold at night. Bring a travel umbrella and a pair of shoes that’s, again, flexible for both weather.

4. Local tourists usually flood in April and May because of students’ summer vacation. So if you are to go to a popular local resort, might as well make a reservation to guarantee you of a better room to stay in.

5. Look for a destination that offers a wide-variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. In this way, you won’t be waiting in vain for the sun to tone down its hotness a little bit or for the rain to go away.

Have a grand, happy vacation to the Pearl of the Orient Seas. For more questions about travelling to the Philippines, just leave us a comment and we’ll get to you right away.

It’s only five days to go before Valentine’s Day. Have you planned something with your special someone? I’ve got here some interesting places to go for a Valentine celebration. I hope I’ve given you some favorable choices.

1. Sonya’s Garden (Tagaytay) – Nice pick for the couple who want serenity and coziness. Sonya’s Garden is best if your partner and you want to detach yourselves from stress. For sure you’ll enjoy their meals and their spa services plus the refreshing greens of the surroundings.

2. Mt. Maculot Rockies (Cuenca, Batangas) – This one’s for the nature-loving couple. If you want quite a simple adventure, trek the Mt. Maculot and set a unique and romantic picnic on the mountain’s peak with the rest of Mother Nature’s beauty.

3. Camiguin Island (Misamis Oriental) – People still call this as “Garden of Eden” because until now, the island still is a paradise. This is a perfect hideaway for couples who enjoy travelling and being one with nature’s grace.

4. Batanes – Well, this is really my number one of this most romantic list. What makes Batanes so special is that has become a paradise without being commercialized. Because in Batanes, it’s all about pure beauty of nature and the people. It is I guess the most romantic place in the country where all you would do is to fall in love with the place and with the one you’re spending the trip with.

5. Donsol River (Sorsogon) – Donsol has a new attraction next to the world’s largest fish, the butanding, the place is now being known for firefly watching. Yes, fireflies or Pyractomena borealis. What makes this attraction romantic? Think of a watching a huge tree covered with fireflies while having an intimate conversation with the person standing next to you.

These are just five of the most romantic places in the Philippines. There are a lot, lot more but I hope this short list somehow helped you in deciding where to go this love month. Happy Valentine’s Day!
