But what about the non-divers who want to make the best out of their Puerto Galera vacation? No need to worry because there are still a lot of things you can enjoy for the rest of your stay.

In the White Beach to be particular, you can spend hours doing water activities other than diving. Since I’m not a diver (yet), I indulge myself with the pleasure of water activities such as boating, snorkeling, kayaking, and banana boat riding.

A long boat ride could get you quite dizzy but with the natural wonders of Puerto Galera, your dizzyness would vanished by itself. Boat riding is meant to take you from one island to another so make the most out of it, rent the boat for two hours or longer. For sure you’d have the best island hopping there.

I’ve been snorkeling since I was in grade school every summer vacation we spent in a beach resort in Batangas. But the best snorkeling experience was probably the one I had in Puerto Galera. It was my first time experience holding on to a banca as I snorkel from one point to another. Diving may give a more intense kind of euphoria but snorkeling has always been giving me an ample share of excitement and happiness.

Kayaking is more of my thing – doing it with much enthusiasm and well, grace. Haha. Everytime I’m on a kayak, I feel like I have my whole life on it, as I row onto the future and make a turn back to where everything has rooted from. When I get tired, all there is to do is stop and let the vast sea take me to its direction.

For those who want a different high, do banana boat riding! I love banana boat. I miss the thrill and every feeling that comes with it. Of course it’s done with your superfriends! So in case you had a bad drop, you have someone you know will save you, haha.

These are just four of the water activities I’ve done so far. There’s still parasailing, jet skiing, water ball walking, and of course, diving. Puerto Galera promises a wonderful vacation, grab it!
