You all know how famous Boracay is and with the pristine white sand stretch and the crystal clear blue water, the island itself makes a romantic setting for a wedding proposal.

With harmonious and romantic ambiance, purely white sand and over-viewed sunset and sunrise, Boracay is the perfect place to ask your woman’s hand for marriage.

By exerting your ideas, you can surely get “YES”. Here are some ways that you can do in your marriage proposal.

SURPRISES. Surprise your loved one for breakfast by the sea side. This is the place where you can talk freely of your sweet nothings especially when you’ve got the seashore all by yourself. Make sure that all she wanted to eat for breakfast are prepared.

SET A DATE. Connive with the waiter/waitress of the most romantic restaurant by the beach to help you in your proposal.

UNWIND. Have a fancy dinner on the sand with a cloth to lie on and a candle light & full of roses’ petals scattered around the place. The smell of the roses could make her mood refreshing.

YACHTING. Have an outrageous experience with someone you love on a yacht while a classical love song is playing on the background. Invite her to dance passionately and that’s the best time to ask her for marriage. Talking about a simple way to propose in a grandiose setting.

A trip in Boracay can be your best getaway from work and home. It’s everybody’s dream island paradise where one can find peace of mind and can be a gift trip for yourself too.

Boracay is known for its powdery white sand and crystal clear water. No wonder why tourists and locals are captivated by the island’s magical beauty.

Boracay is not just about the beach. You should not miss the other hot spots in Boracay. I can say that your trip would not be complete if you don’t try to see any of these interesting places.

Crocodile Island

If you are looking for aquatic marine adventure, Crocodile Island is the best for you. It is not because you’ll be seeing crocodiles, but because you can clearly see amazing species of fish and corals in its sea bed when you go snorkeling. As for its name, the island looks like a crocodile from a distance so they call it Crocodile Island.

Puka Beach

Is considered as one of the virgin beaches in Boracay. You can’t find any establishments nearby so can really feel the solemnity of the beach. You will be amazed with its sand made from natural crushed sea shells and clear cool beach water.

Butterfly Garden

It is one among the tourists’ favorite spots in Boracay. Butterfly Garden is a tropical garden which houses 200 to 300 species of butterflies and you can also find 500 species of botanical plants with labels for the visitors to read.

The Kingfisher’s Farm

Nature lovers would like this place and it’s really worth visiting. Kingfisher’s Farm is located at the narrowest point of Boracay which would only took 10 mins of walking distance from the main road.

Enjoy the ambiance of the farm’s cabanas or bonsai while indulging yourselves in great food as they allow visitors to fish and grill their food by themselves.

Dead Forest

Dead Forest is the favorite destination of photographers for taking pictures of still waters and dead plantation. This is considered as one of the most interesting spots here in Boracay. Enchanted stories of ghosts and other supernatural occurrences vary depending on whom you would be asking for.

It is recommended to bring bug repellents or bug spray to avoid insect bites. Many film production choose this as location for horror and suspense movies.

Visit Boracay to discover more of the island’s hot spots you’ve never seen and experienced before!

It’s great to visit Boracay anytime. But then so many activities have been lined up that it is usually difficult to make up your mind regarding just WHEN to go. The following are some of the major events in Boracay to help you make the most of your stay in the island.
January in Boracay has one big plus: the world-famous Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival, the Philippine mardi gras which is celebrated every third week of January.
International sports events such as the Boracay International Funboard Cup and the Annual International Paraw Cup Challenge are during January to February.

March, April, and May are great to go in Boracay because it is summer. At this time, the island thrives with beach activity as many tourists arrive to enjoy basking in the sun and staying in the cool waters, either swimming, diving or snorkeling. Except a lot of local visitors, too, for these months are vacation time for the students.
June, July and September are considered off-season months in Boracay. Budget conscious tourist swear that this is the best time to go since Boracay rates are cheapest and there are few “rivals” for that precious patch of white sand beach.
October marks the beginning of the peak season. This already lasts until the summer months. During the months of October, November and December, the cool, tropical climate is at its best in the island. Major sports events are held at this time of the year.
Holiday offerings are also popular among most establishments during the Christmas season.

Want to have a ‘white Christmas’ without leaving the boundaries of the Philippines? Veer away from the crowded shopping malls and amusement parks this holiday season and spend your Christmas in the island paradise, Boracay. With the fine white sand, who says we need snow?

Some people think that spending Christmas away from home is like being a scrooge. Or maybe, it’s a way of hiding from all the inaanaks (godchildren) hunting them for Christmas gifts and goodies. But hey, nothing’s bad about spending Christmas in Boracay! Well, I guess no one’s gonna argue if you can bring your loved ones with you.

How to spend Christmas in Boracay? It’s just the same things you’re doing in your summer Boracay getaway. Why not try an early Noche Buena? Have your dinner as the sun sets and and start a meaningful conversation with whom you are with by recalling your previous Christmases.

Another fun Christmas activity is to have the Scavenger Hunt. This is best done when you are a large group (with relatives or with your barkadas). Hide your gifts in the most unexpected places but don’t forget to give clues that would lead them to finding their presents.

Instead of having a snowman, have a sandman! Do sand figures of Christmas characters if you want to. The more the merrier! The kids would surely enjoy this.

You can have happy Christmas in Boracay as long as you have within you the true meaning of what you’re celebrating for. Spread the love and thank the good Lord above for the life and abundance of even the smallest blessings you have received.

HAVE A MERRY BORACAY CHRISTMAS!

It’s October and this signals the beginning of Boracay’s peak season. Yes, peak season runs from October until the summer months. The last quarter of the year is the best season for different sports event held in the island. So for sports buff, this probably is the best time for you to go to Boracay.

When the first semester of the school year ends in October, it’s the time for college students to take a break off from school and plan a Boracay trip. Come November, the island would be loaded with backpackers from different parts of the country as they go on a short vacation for the Halloween. As for December, there are couples who opt to have their weddings in Boracay. It’s the perfect time to enjoy the cool, romantic breeze in the island.

Now that the off-peak season is over, I suggest you do a double check on your budget. When vacationers start rushing to Boracay, the rates of hotel accommodations, food, activities, and even souvenirs also rush up. In order to have proper allotment of your budget, do online research and compare rates on different hotels and restaurants so you won’t be overly conscious of your budget. Spontaneity is a key to have a fun-filled trip. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss it.

Peak season means you have to share the pristine white sand and the sparkling sapphire-like waters of Boracay with a lot of people who came there having the same reason as yours – to have a fabulous vacation. It’s time for you to widen your circle of friends. Meet other people. For those enjoying their single blessedness for quite a long time, don’t you think it’s time for you to view the horizon again and find your match? Not so bad idea.

Of course, being around with family and friends in such a paradise would complete your trip. Not only that you could share the expenses with them, you could also have the best company to share your Boracay experience with. You know you wouldn’t have a dull moment in such a festive place.

It’s time to visit Boracay, earthlings!
