Travel Guide to Boracay

There are different ways on how to get to Boracay Islands. Here’s a quick list of transportation details on your way to Boracay.

By air

From Manila to Caticlan: around an hour
Caticlan Airport Location: Malay, Aklan
Travel through: Asian Spirit, Corporate Air, Interisland Airlines, South East Asian Airlines

From Manila to Kalibo: 30 minutes
Kalibo Airport Location: Kalibo, Aklan
Travel through: Air Philippines, Asian Spirit, Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines

By land

From Caticlan Airport to Jetty Port: 3 minutes
Travel through: tricycles

From Kalibo Airport to Caticlan Jetty Port: 1.5 hours
Travel through: airconditioned buses and vans

By sea; by RORO

From Manila to Boracay: approximately 12-18 hours
Travel through: bus by RORO (Strong Republic Nautical Highway or roll-on roll-off)
1. Manila to Batangas (by land): 2 hours
2. Batangas to Calapan, Mindoro (RORO): 2-3 hours
3. Calapan to Roxas port (by land): 2-3 hours
4. Roxas port to Caticlan port (RORO): 4-5 hours

From Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay: 15-20 minutes
Travel through: ferry boats
